These biodegradable bags don’t hold in odor like the old ones. I used to walk in my daughter’s nursery and not smell a thing. Since using these bags her nursery smells. I’m disappointed and hope that I can find the old ones AND hope they are not an arm and a leg.

They must have redesigned the Diaper Dekor 2 and stopped making the correct refills. These refills do NOT fit my 2-year-old Diaper Dekor 2. Had to throw the can out, can’t find refills anywhere. Just using our trash now. Potty training here we come!

As a Dad, I had no idea whick Diaper Dekor i have. On the Diaper Dekor it does not say ‘Plus’ on it anywhere so who would know. To tell, the origninal Diaper Dekor has a round / oval shape that holds the bags while the Diaper Dekor plus a rectangle with slightly rounded edges. So, be sure to use the right bags. These diaper dekor bags don’t fit the diaper dekor plus. The picture on the box is completely misleading.

Great Product for Moms–I have a newborn-its summer where I live– this masks odor very well, especially in hot weather.
I did not buy the diaper genie and I don’t miss having one due to this product.

I’ve ordered these twice. The first time, they were alright and a decent price for the amount of bags you receive. The second order – the smell coming off the bags was horrific! It smelled like bug spray or something toxic – they would stink up the whole room! I returned them hoping for a better batch. NO LUCK! They smell just as bad and my husband had to put them out in the garage. We’ll be using them as poop bags for the dog instead of diaper disposal bags. They smell way too strong to put anywhere near the family!

I had to return these bags. The odor is so intens that would get into my throat. They are also overwhelmed with powder that it’s very difficult to wipe off clothes. I don’t want my baby to stay so close to such strong chemicals and they are not recyclable. I’d rather spend extra bucks and buy the black, lighter,recyclable bags

This diaper pale works ok, you can still smell the stinky diapers. I have two boys in diapers that are not on solids yet. I have to change it every other day because the front pannel is so flimsy that it will pop open if I try to suff it. It holds about 30 diapers.

This pail is an ok. It is easy to use and easy to clean. It holds in the smell when it is closed. When you do open it to throw away diapers the nasty smell comes creeping out. It is easy to clean with soap and water, but it gets smelly fast. I also bought the odor pads that is suppose to help with the smell and they do not work. For being a cheap can it does the job, but you need to empty it every other day to help with the smell.

I know some people thought it was small, but I have two kids and only have to change it every other day. In my opinion, no diaper pail is going to contain dirty diaper odor longer than that anyway. The deodorizer discs fit fine with room to spare, and when it is closed I have not noticed any odor at all. When it is open, you will get a little smell, but I think any pail will do that.

These bags work great. We have the two of them and send one to the daycare everyday in our diaper bag. Though only thing I would say is I would not consider them “large” by any means. Make sure you check the size before you order. We use BumGenius dipes and you can fit 4-6 in it, if you wrap them tightly, and cram them in. They work the best for a day outing. We wash them once or twice a week as they are easily washed with the diapers and we hang them to dry on the rack with the diapers. Definitely worth buying

The First Years – Clean Air Diaper Disposal System owned for over 2 years no problems til i broke battery door prong – mom of two –
i have owned this product for over 2 years and had no problems til i broke the battery door prong. have a new one coming from manufacturer and they were very helpful.the batteries go bad time to time because items that take D batteries (at least all that i own) have a odd current that drains one battery and leaves the rest good. i use a battery checker when changing batteries so my diaper pail uses maybe 1 battery a week. love this product. if you change bag at least once a week the smell in the can stays in check, and you have to keep-up on the filters too.

We purchased this diaper pail from Amazon. At first we loved it even though the lid was a bit top heavy. We just put it against the wall to compensate. The bad thing about this diaper pail is that the weight of the bag, once filled with diapers, caused the bag clamp to break. So now it does not prevent odors from escaping the pail. It is poorly designed and we are now searching for a replacement.

I purchased this diaper pail for my first daughter, who is now 14 months old. I have never had any problems with it. I love it so much that I came to this website to purchase a second one for baby #2 who is due in 4 months. My favorite thing about this diaper pail is that you don’t have to purchase any pricey refills; just use whatever bags you have for your kitchen trash can. One small note on that… it works much better if you use a bag with a drawstring top. Plain trashbags tend to slip out of the holder and fall down into the pail once it starts to get full. I have never had any issues with smells, and I have only replaced the filter once in the the last year. I know that other reviewers had issues with the fan, and maybe theirs just didn’t work. Initially, I thought that was the case with ours as well, since it is extremely quiet, but after reading the directions I figured out that the fan only comes on immediately after the lid is closed after having inserted a diaper. Once I listened closely, I could hear it at that time. Again, never had any problems with smells (and my little one sure can stink up a room!), so that seems to be good enough for me. All in all, a great purchase!
